The Role As a Telecommunications Rigger, you will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, inspection, and support of telecommunications infrastructure across client sites. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, technicians, and site teams to deliver high quality installation and maintenance work across wireless and telecommunications assets. This is a hands on role where safety, quality, communication, and reliability are key. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: Installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment and infrastructure, including antennas, cables, and associated systems Performing rigging activities safely and in line with industry standards and site requirements Conducting site surveys and assessments to support installation planning Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance to ensure telecommunications systems perform reliably Working with engineers and project managers to deliver installation plans effectively Identifying and reporting any site issues, hazards, defects, or maintenance requirements Completing accurate documentation for work performed Supporting a strong safety culture across all field activities About You You will be a reliable, safety conscious Telecommunications Rigger with a practical approach and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. You will bring: Previous experience in telecommunications rigging High Risk Licence in Intermediate Rigging or higher Current driver licence Current White Card Current Senior First Aid Certificate Current Working at Heights and Tower Rescue Certificate Current Telstra Induction Card RF awareness certificate, or the ability to demonstrate RF awareness knowledge and pass required testing Ability to pass regular medical appraisals and remain fit to climb A professional and solutions focused approach to field work Strong attention to safety, quality, and compliance Additional licences such as EWP, forklift, crane operation, mobile plant, or heavy rigid vehicle licence will be viewed favourably.
